Parish School of Religion: Welcome back to all our students, teachers and parents! This year the theme is “Prayer: the Faith Prayed. We have a parent meeting on September 18 after the 9:00 Mass. Each week there is an insert in the bulletin that you can use with your family at home to reinforce the Sunday Scripture readings. St Michael Youth Group: Our first meeting of the year is Sunday night, September 25 at 6:00 pm. We will have pizza and can discuss plans for the 2016-17 year. Come hungry!!

The Good Samaritan Center is asking for donations of pancake mix.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS is having a Baked Fish and Shrimp Dinner at 6:00 p.m. on Fr iday, September 23. The dinner will include french fries and cole slaw. Cost is $9.00. Take out orders are available by calling 304-428-0331.

Parkersburg Catholic Athletics Association is sponsoring their annual Outback Dinner on Wednesday, September 21 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at PCHS. (Rain or shine) The Outback Dinner includes steak and chicken, baked potato, corn, bread, dessert, and a drink. Carryout meals will be available. Tickets are $ 10 for students and $ 15 for adults. Come enjoy an evening out and support PCHS Athletics. Please contact any Crusader Fall Sports Athlete or call the high school office 304-485-6341 for tickets.

The Original Pizza Place - Mall location is hosting a Raise Some Dough fundraiser for our Student Council on October 4. We will receive 15% of the total collected receipts during the entire day. All you have to do is order and eat some delicious pizza on October 4. Make sure to ask for the receipt, and place it in the bucket.

Don’t miss this opportunity to encounter Christ and make a pilgrimage to the Year of Mercy Holy Doors with teens from across the Diocese! Come spend the day growing in our faith and worshipping God! The day is packed with dynamic speakers, worship music, a Marian Procession, Mass, Adoration and More! The cost is $15.00 each or $25.00 family and includes lunch. 2016 WALK FOR LIFE is scheduled for Sunday October 9 at City Park. Registration and lunch at 12:30 with the walk ac-tivities beginning at 1:15 p.m. Sponsored by Women’s Care Center.
