talons.• They have talons for catching food.
Owls
• Owls are birds of prey.• Owls have big eyes to see at night.• They snatch their prey.

• Barn Owls are common owls.• Barn owls found out that barns can make
good homes.
Great Grey Owl
• Great grey owls are one of the biggest owls.• They are tall owls. Great grey owls are one of
the biggest and tallest owls.
Northern Pygmy Owl
• Northern pygmy owls are the smallest owls.• They are fierce owls even though they are
small. Sometimes they eat things bigger than themselves.
Great Horned Owl
• Sometimes great horned owls will wade in the water to catch their food.
• Great horned owls are the most famous owls.• They have a famous hoot.
Falcon-Like Birds
Falcon like birds are sleeker.Unlike owls, Falcon-like birds are silent fliers.

• Kites are lightweight birds.• Kites have a forked tail.
