Gray wants a few of Harry’s ‘machines that help make you feel happy’ to put in strategic spots for when we feel sad.

Many students participated in Code 4 Fun’s Winter Coding Challenge (a half a year initiative, where we invite all our 1,400 students to participate from 26 schools around Sydney). One of Birchgrove Public School students Oliver Bone achieved an outstanding result and won CODE4FUN Winter Coding Challenge. He received a new laptop and an invitation to visit Google with an excursion. This tour is organised by Google and CODE4FUN for top 30 coding students, and it is absolutely great that we will have Birchgrove PS student in this group! Congratulations Oliver!

Our director, Rod Megahey who looks after our school’s area came to visit Monday. He particularly enjoyed working on the See Saw App with the Bilbies and stayed while they developed machines that would help them at school. Our parents liked the lesson too and recorded responses and voice messages for the children on the App. Miss

Camp Yarramundi Reflection By Heidi Campbell Camp Yarramundi was fun, exciting, cheerful and was the best! At the camp, we went in the dark, spooky cave maze. “Mmm this food is delicious!” said Tilda chewing her dinner. Pretty, pink sunrise in the morning. “Yay, it’s camp!” I said excitingly when we finally were there. Amazing, fun activities like the cave maze, orienteering and the giant swing. Roza, Wendy, Tilda, Zoe, Emily, Femke, Hana and Dana were in my cabin. Really fun and happy cabins. Archery is when you have heavy bows and sharp arrows. My friends were very when it came to night time. Under and over the crazy obstacles. Noisy classmates next-door! “Did you like Camp Yarramundi?” my friend asked me. I wish I could go back to that fun camp
