Razi Vaccine & Serum Research Institute (1925)

– Razi is one of the oldest and most important applied R&D organization in Iran.

– Razi produces over 3 billion doses of 55 different biological products, including human and veterinary vaccines and also diagnostic antigens, at an annual value of about $105m.

– Razi has 28 different departments and employs 1250 staff, including 133 scientists.

- The institute uses locally produced fermenters for vaccine production.

– Razi has links to the WHO and is part of the UN health care infrastructure.
