The Innovation and Start-up Center for

Biotechnology (IZB) in Planegg-Martinsried

(focus on medical biotechnology) and Freising-

Weihenstephan (focus on bio-, agricultural- and

nutritional- sciences) has developed into one of

the top biotechnology centers in the world and

offers young biotech start-ups on 25 000 m2 an

optimal building infrastructure for biotechnology.
