The Biosphere

Def: Layer around the Earth containing all living organisms

made up of 3 parts:

1- Lithosphere (solid layer): Rigid part of the earth.

2- Hydrosphere (water layer): all the waters on the earth's surface, such as lakes and seas, and sometimes including water over the earth's surface, such as clouds.

3- Atmosphere (layer of air): the envelope of gases surrounding the earth or another planet.

Carbon Cycle and Global Warming

CO2:  Too much carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere—which acts as a blanket, trapping heat and warming the planet. 

CH4: Through the process of digestion, when cows burp and fart, methane is produced. Also decomposition from landfills and using manure.
