ECO POWER GENERATION
Biomass• Biomass is organic material, which
has stored solar energy from sunlightin the form of chemical in the plantsthrough the process calledphotosynthesis.
Biomass Gasification Fuel
Biomass Gasification• Biomass Gasification converts solid
biomass into more convenient gaseousform.
• Biomass does not add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere as it absorbs the same amount of carbon while growing. It is the cheapest, eco-friendly, renewable source of energy.
Biomass Gasification
• A biomass gasifier system mainlycomprises of a reactor, where thecombustible gas is generated and the gasis made available for power generation /thermal application after the requiredcleaning and cooling process.
Biomass Gasification
Biomass Gasification• The biomass is converted into a mixture
of gases through a thermo-chemicalreaction called Producer gas, which iscombustible having a calorific value of4.5-5.0 MJ/kg, with an averagecomposition of CO : 20 + 1%; CH4 : 3 +1%, H2 : 20 + 1%, CO2 : 12 + 1% and rest,N2.
Biomass Gasification
• The essence of gasification process isthe conversion of solid carbon fuelsinto carbon monoxide by thermochemical process.
• This process is made possible in a device called biomass gasifier.
Power Generation using biomass
• Using the gas obtained from biomass fuel, it ispossible to operate a diesel engine on DualFuel Mode with marginal changes to the airinlet or in a 100% Producer Gas Engine. In dualfuel mode, diesel substitution of the order of80 to 85% can be obtained at nominal loads.
Power Generation using biomass
Power Generation using biomass
• The recent developments have made possible the operations of Spark ignited gas engine using gas obtained from biomass fuel alone.
• The mechanical energy thus derived can beused directly to energizing mechanical deviceor by coupling with an alternator for electricalpower generation, either for localconsumption or for grid synchronization.

Average Consumption of Diesel - 0.33 liters/KWh
Cost of Diesel - Rs.13.53/KWh
Savings when compared to 100% Diesel
- Rs.10.27 / KWh
80-90% Energy Saving:Salient Features / Relevant Data:
• High conversion efficiency of 70 - 80% fromsolid biomass to gaseous fuel.
• Each Kilogram of Biomass produces around2.5 to 3.0 cubic meters of gas having a calorificvalue of 1000 - 1100 kilocalories per cubicmeter.
• A Liter of liquid fuels (diesel / gasoline) can besaved with only 3 to 4 kilograms of biomass.
80-90% Energy Saving:Salient Features / Relevant Data:
• Extremely clean and complete combustion ofgas due high hydrogen content.
• Wide turn down ratio. Positive environmentalimpact through saving of biomass in motcases.
• Positive impact on global climate i.e. reducedthreat of global warming.
Benefits of Biomass Gassifier
• It meets the endeavors of a country in harnessingalternate renewable energy resources in thecontext of energy crisis and conservation
• Its eco friendly• Reduces deforestation• Produces smokeless fuel• Heat treatment furnaces• Gives value added fertilizer which is organic
hence cause soil nutrient ion increaseproductivity
Benefits of Biomass Gassifier
• Brings clean environment due to lowering ofpollution of land air water based resulting inimproved sanitation
• Convenience and leisure to woman
• Gives rural employment hence improves ruraleconomy
• Rubber & Footwear industries
• Enables for carbon credit
SOLAR SYSTEM WITH BATTERY BACKUP
SOLAR SYSTEM WITHOUT BATTERY BACKUP
SOLAR SYSTEM WITHOUT BATTERY BACKUP
• THIS METHOS REDUCE THE COST BECAUSETHERE IS NO BATTERY BACKUP, IT IS ONLYFOR DAY TIME USE
Advantages of Solar Power
• Photovoltaic solar power is one of the mostpromising renewable energy sources in theworld.
• Generates free energy from the sun
• Has no moving part to break down thusrequiring minimal maintenance
Advantages of Solar Power
• Non-polluting energy reduces emissions: Hasno direct impact on the environment
• Photovoltaic (PV) cells are modular, you canstart with a small system and expand as yourneeds increase
• Systems have a long life & durability. Cellslast 25-30 years
Advantages of Solar Power
• Grid-Tie systems allow you to sell excesselectricity back to the utility
• Can be installed and operated anywhereincluding areas of difficult access and remotelocations
• Helps get us off dependence on foreign oil
• PV cells make no noise and give off noexhaust
Advantages of Solar Power
• Allow the use of electricity in remote areas where it would be expensive or impossible to run power lines
• Have electrical power during blackouts
• Rebates and incentives available. 30% Federal tax credit, plus state and local incentives
WIND ENERGY
• MRCGE provides total solutions in windpower generation with cohesive integrationof consultancy, design, manufacturing, installation, operation and maintenanceservices. Its products include the integratedservice for the wind turbines and wind parks.
WIND ENERGY
• Wind is a form of solar energy. Winds arecaused by the uneven heating of theatmosphere by the sun, the irregularities ofthe earth's surface, and rotation of the earth.Wind flow patterns are modified by theearth's terrain, bodies of water, andvegetation. Humans use this wind flow, ormotion energy, for many purposes: sailing, flying a kite, and even generating electricity.
WIND ENERGY
• MRCG Energy specializes in offeringcomprehensive green energy solutionscombining wind and solar power into a singlehybrid system. Kestrel alone is the certifiedhybrid wind turbine in the world. The value thatMRCG Energy brings to India is simply amazing.
• MRCG Energy solution can eliminate the needfor diesel based generation even in moderatewind regime zones. (Wind speed of 4m/s)
WIND ENERGY
• MRCG Energy hybrid green energy solution is sustainable, with a life span of 18-20 years.
• The ROI could be as low 24 to 30 months on MRCG Energy solutions, with the remaining 17 + years being almost Zero cost energy!!
• Our wind turbines have successfully demonstrated these concepts in hundreds of locations worldwide.
ADVANTAGES OF WIND POWERENERGY
• The wind is free and with modern technology it canbe captured efficiently.
• Once the wind turbine is built the energy it producesdoes not cause green house gases or other pollutants.
• Wind turbines have a role to play in both thedeveloped and third world.
• Wind turbines are available in a range of sizes whichmeans a vast range of people and businesses can usethem. Single households to small towns and villagescan make good use of range of wind turbinesavailable today
WIND WITH SOLAR HYDRID ENERGY SYSTEM
• The hybrid system uses solar and wind energy to generate electricity, it consists of windmill, solar panels, batteries and an inverter. It generates around 1800 KW of electricity, that’s enough to run at least a fan and a tube-light in every room of that seven storey building at a given point in time. It can also bear the load of some televisions and computers.
