SleepThe most obvious rhythm that exists is the wake/sleep cycle. On average humans spend 1/3rd of their life asleep. If you live to the ripe old age of 90 that equates to 30 whole years of being on the land of nod. Just think what you could use that extra time for. You could work and earn an extra 600K. 1.8 million. Sleep must therefore serve a purpose!

What the Exam Requires

A biorhythm is a pattern of physiological or psychological processes which repeats itself over a specified period of time. Write down as many biological rhythms as you can think of. Are these all the same? If not what differences are there between the different types of rhythms?
