Once your candle has burned through, follow these easy cleaning steps
to give your Bijou new life. When the wax has burned to a quarter inch
above the bottom of the vessel, your Bijou is ready to be transformed.
1. Wait until the wax has completely cooled and is safe to touch.
Take your Bijou vessel and place it in your freezer overnight.
2. When completely frozen, use a spoon to remove the wax and metal wick.
Tip: If the metal wick is stubborn, add a tablespoon of water and refreeze.
This will help to dislodge the wick.
3. After you have removed the metal wick, clean with a scrubber sponge
and olive oil or dish soap. For a thorough cleaning, place your Bijou bowl
through a dishwasher cycle.
4. Be creative, it’s up to you how you choose to use your Bijou!
The Bijou bowl is made of 100% fire-retardant resin,
making the Bijou unbreakable and easy to clean.
On the occasion that soot does appear on your Bijou,
simply wipe with a damp cloth.
Your Bijou candle bowl will stay pristine
for a lifetime.
