The Data Scientist has his ear to the business and his eyes full on the data – the Data Entrepreneur has exactly the opposite focus, eyes full on the business, ear to the data.

#1 -- Consider the business problem before diving into the technology. Per Michael Schrage of MIT Sloan School’s Center for Digital Intelligence, “Business needs to move from being data-driven to being algorithmically aware.”
#2 -- Understand which people can deliver big data results for your business. Data-savvy Information professionals are needed just as much as data scientists.
#3 -- Move from big data experimentation to experiment-driven big data. Look at the world though a bigger lens.
