The Mvula Trust is an Implementing Agent for the National Department of Basic Education. The Trust is assisting the Department of Education in undertaking the provision of sanitation facilities under the Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Delivery Programme (ASIDI) in Mpumalanga. The projects under this programme also include a water component.

a. Mpumalanga Northern Cluster (Bid no. ASIDI/MP/MT/01/2015) or the b. Mpumalanga Southern Cluster (Bid no. ASIDI/MP/MT/01/2015)

Compulsory clarification meetings will be held as follows:

1. Mpumalanga Northern Cluster - Thursday 30 July 2015 at 10:00 2. Mpumalanga Southern Cluster - Friday 31 July 2015 at 10:00

Tenderers are expected to meet at 10:00 on 30 July 2015 and 31 July 2015 at Proffice Building, 1st Floor, 23 Corridor Crescent, Route N4 Business Park, Ben Fleur Ext11, Emalahleni from where they will be accompanied to the various sites. Tender documents are available for cash purchase at a cost a non-refundable rate of R 350 per document from 29 July 2015 at The Mvula Trust offices at Suite G3, Bio-water Building, 16 Brander Street, Nelspruit. Documents can be purchased between 9:00 and 16:00 on weekdays. Bidders who are not registered on The Mvula Trust Service Provider database are required to submitted a completed Database Registration form together with the completed tender document. The Service Provider Database Forms can be collected from 29 July 2015 at The Mvula Trust offices at Suite G3, Bio-water Building, 16 Brander Street, Nelspruit. The tender closing date and time: 12 August 2015 @ 12:00. Completed tender documents must be submitted in sealed envelopes, marked as follows:

Documents must be deposited in a tender box at the Nelspruit office of The Mvula Trust at Suite G3, Bio-water Building, 16 Brander Street, Nelspruit. Telegraph, telephone, telex, facsimile and late documents will not be accepted. Tenderers shall take note of the following tender conditions –

1. Tenderers are required to have a CIDB Contractor grading designation of minimum 4GB 2. An approved surety will be required 3. Penalties for late completion will be enforced 4. Late tenders will not be accepted 5. Failure to complete all supplementary information the RETURNABLE SCHEDULES will result in the tender

being eliminated 6. Evaluation criteria and allocation of points are as follows:

STAGE 1 Tenders are to obtain a minimum of 60 points of the functionality points to be considered for the next stage. The breakdown of the functionality points are as follows:
