Dear Parents,

Summer vacations are here again to give us respite from the scorching heat. We

hope that our children will enjoy their vacation time as well as enhance their

skills.

Children learn through experiences and play. There are many ways in which you

can support them in gaining knowledge and understanding as well as strengthen

the parent child bond.

Some things that you as a parent can do are

Take your child on a nature walk.

Play simple game with your child.

Make simple conversations.

Involve them in little household chores.

Recite a story to them.

GUIDELINE FOR PARENTS:

Holiday homework should be done under parental guidance and not by the

parents.

Please train your child to become independent in his/her daily chores.

To develop speaking skills in child, help him/her learn a story from his/her

favorite story book.

Encourage child to converse in English.

Monitor your ward’s T.V viewing and programmes to be seen depending on

the age and development of the child.



Good manners and good habits are lifelong assets and they should be

practiced until they become habit. Revise the four magical words: Please,

Sorry, Thank You and Excuse Me which we have learned as the part of

basic of good manners. Make these four magical words a habit and see the

differences.

HOW INDEPENDENT CAN I BECOME

Make child independent by teaching his/her various activities like

Buttoning and unbuttoning the shirt.

Folding mats and clothes.

Arranging their toys shelf.

Learning to wear shoes and sock.

Learning how to zip their school bag and their uniform(Shorts).
