hair, eyes, lips, hands, and feet which are the most challenging parts to drawing fashion figures.

There are hundreds of tutorials available online in YouTube and on Pinterest. Here is a student

Fashion Illustration Assessment: How well did students create a fashion figure in the correct

proportions according to directions in class? To what extent did students demonstrate skillful

and careful techniques in drawing the croquis or accessories? Did they draw lightly at first so

erasures would not leave permanent marks? Did they show neatness and good craftsmanship?

How well did the student incorporate the assigned theme or original ideas into their design? Did

student show effort to show shadows and highlights to give the appearance dimension? Does the

artwork demonstrate good observation by rendering of details such as stitches, buttons, pockets,

and other embellishments on clothing or accessories. Does the design demonstrate originality in

clothing design and accessories? Is the design visually pleasing?
