Prefab For ProductivityIn this issue of our newsletter, we showcase the productivity improvements which could be achieved from the use of bar mats for slabs with heavier loading. This, together with our welded wire mesh, enables a greater degree of prefabrication for all types of slabs, assisting builders in fulfiling BCA’s requirement that 65% of slabs in local building structures have to be prefabricated.
You will also find in this issue other examples of our extensive range of prefabricated products used in some of our recent projects which have allowed their respective building contractors to save time, labour and money.

r • 4 workers took 1 day to lay the BB and B layer for one of the trench measuring 2.0m (D) x 6.5m (W) x 35m (L).• Prefab column stumps were hoisted in place in 10 minutes.
