Who Is Betsey Johnson?Connecticut-born, New York-raised, Bestey Johnson burst onto the fashion scene in 1964. Years later she would become the creative control behind the label Alley Cat and in 1978 she started her own label, Betsey Johnson label. She is a strong advocate in the fight against Breast Cancer, creating numerous one-of-a-kind pieces to be auctioned off to benefit various charities.

The collection is a favorite of many celebrities including Courtney Love, Sarah McLachlen, Minnie Driver, Salma Hayek, and Heather Graham.

A favorite among many girls, Betseyville is Betsey Johnson’s most popular brand, appealing to the younger fashion scene. Betseyville is an eclectic mix of patterns, colors, and shapes in what has been hailed as “the essence of Betsey Johnson”.

Betseyville VillaBetsey Johnson converted an old hotel in Barra di Potosi, Mexico into her private Mexican paradise. After two years of owning the property, she converted it into a resort for the public. To this day, it has been a favorite for many newlyweds and those who wish to simply get away. Decorating several rooms as only Betsey Johnson could, this villa serves as inspiration for Betsey as she continues to create signature pieces for her collections. The house was exclusively featured in In Style Homes in April 2005.
