The!school!year$International$students$!$attend$our$school$from$the$second$$$$$$week$of$September$up$to$the$end$$$$$$of$July.$!$take$part$in$lessons$taught$in$English.$!$have$lessons$in$German$as$a$foreign$$$$$language.$!$write$tests$and$exams$together$with$$$$$their$classmates.$!$receive$a$school$report$as$well$as$$$$$$a$certificate$at$the$end$of$the$school$year.$!$take$part$in$an$extra+curricular$activity$$$$$$of$their$choice.$$$Aims$Participants$of$the$IFC$!$live$and$learn$together.$!$encounter$and$deal$with$people$from$$$$$different$countries,$lifestyles$and$ideas.$!$enhance$their$cultural$competency.$!$become$citizens$of$a$global$world.$$

International$students$!$are$offered$a$one+week$internship$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$at$the$car$manufacturer$Porsche.$!$gain$experience$in$multicultural$$$$$$communication$and$understanding.$$!$improve$their$English$and$German$$$$$language$skills.$$

We$are$very$grateful$for$the$friendly$support$of$the$city$of$Stuttgart.$$Accommodation!and!costs!

International$students$are$offered$!$a$one+year$stay$in$one$host$family$$$$$$or$two$six+month$stays$in$two$different$$$$$$host$families.$!$full+board$accommodation$provided$$$$$$by$the$host$families.$International$students$have$to$!$pay$the$travel$expenses$to$Germany$and$$$$$back$and$need$pocket$money,$$$$$$e.g.$for$leisure$time$activities.$

!$make$a$one+off$payment$of$€$800,$which$$$$$includes$insurance$premiums,$a$public$$$$$transport$subscription$as$well$as$a$sym+$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$bolic$contribution$for$the$host$families$$$$$$for$board$and$lodging.$!Who!can!join!the!IFC?!International$students$who$!$are$16+17$years$old$or$in$grade$ten.$!$have$a$good$knowledge$of$English$in$$$$$$all$four$skills$(listening,$reading,$$$$$$speaking$and$writing).$!$are$interested$in$Germany$and$in$$$$$$learning$the$German$language.$!$are$prepared$to$respect$the$guide+$$$$$lines$of$IFC$program.$$!$are$willing$and$able$to$integrate$$$$$$into$the$family$life$of$their$hosts.$
