Contemporary has been named the country’s Best Salon Group - at TWO separate industry awards! First up was the Salon Business Awards 2018, with the news revealed to a packed audience at the event, held at the rooftop Rumpus Rooms at London’s exclusive Mondrian Hotel. Managing Director Alan Simpson

Widely regarded as one of the most important events in the hairdressing calendar, the BHBAs recognise the individuals and teams who work tirelessly to raise the profile and professionalism of the industry. Amanda said: ‘I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved

(pictured) collected the award on the night and thanked the hardworking, passionate team ‘for their continued dedication’ and our incredible clients ‘for their loyalty and support.’ Then, just as this newsletter was going to press, we discovered that we had also won the same category at the Hair Magazine Awards 2018! Winning awards is always a huge honour but these accolades are particularly special, given that they were each judged by some of hairdressing’s most respected names. We’re blown away by the news and proud to bring these trophies home to the North East!
