The ASSOCHAM Best Promising Food Industry Awards 2015 will motivate industry to adopt high-tech innovations.

The award ceremony took place at the FAD 2015, 7th International Summit on August 04, 2015.

Only recent innovations, implemented within the last 3 years that can be applied for improvement of food quality or food processing schemes including packaging will be considered. Contribution to Indian Economy by Export promotion. Contribution in enhancing local livelihood

Award Methodology

Award Criteria

For a company to be considered for the respective award category, financial details as mentioned in the questionnaire had to be mandatorily provided by the company. If short listed, the company has to provide required financial statements in support of its application for validation purposes.

All company information collected will be kept confidential. However, ASSOCHAM will not be liable for any loss resulting from the disclosure of information in the application. The jury will have the exclusive right to accept or reject any application based on its discretion and such decisions will be final.

A proprietary quantitative model developed by ASSOCHAM will be used to short list the award winners. The model would base primarily on computation of composite scores calculated by considering various financial and quantitative indicators. The final set of award winners will be chosen by an independent jury based on a combination of quantitative scores and qualitative information provided.
