As the March Break is fast approaching, some students may be away on vacation just prior to the break. If your child will be away, have your child let their teachers know. Arduino After School Program : Icewire has been involved in providing our intermediate students opportunities to code using Arduino software. Now students in Grades 3 & 4 can explore in an after school program offered by Icewire during an 8 week program every Monday, March to April. Staff Appreciation Day – Thank you Home & School! On behalf of all Bessborough staff, we want to thank all students and parents for the wonderful cards, treats, flowers and gifts. It was wonderful to receive such thanks from everyone. Seeing students engaged and excited to be at school is thanks for us. A special thanks to Home and School for organizing this special day!

Creative Writing Contest : Congratulations to all of our budding young authors who submitted a creative writing piece to Bessborough’s Creative Writing Contest. We had over 50 entries! Student council enjoyed reading all of the stories very much. They showed great imagination and creativity. We had a very difficult time choosing from amongst these amazing stories. A Message from our Home and School Committee …

Cabaret is Back! Is your child interested in signing up to audition for The Bessies? Please sign up for an audition day (March 30, 31 or April 1) and time at the Bessie bulletin board outside the office and return the attached form no later than Friday, February 27th. Bessie Guidelines: All students from grade 1 - 8 are welcome to participate. Students can perform as a solo act for 1 minute or in a group for 1 min 30 seconds. Students are encouraged to sing, perform a lip sync, dance, play an instrument or create a skit. Volunteers: This event does not happen without volunteers, we need help prior to, during and after the performance and can accommodate your schedule.
