Virtually unbreakable Amel from 2006, she has circumnavigated Planet Earth in comfort and safety and she is now back in Blighty to jolly well be sold. Excellent sail plan and good ideas in spades, she could now use some elbow grease and a pitstop to make her purr ready for the next ocean. Comes with a rather unassuming price!

New age Najad, her Judel Vrolijk pedigree gives her seriously rewarding sailing performance. From 2007, not only is she a beautifully looking beast, she really delivers for capable blue water cruising. Her widget list is exhaustive, and she’s good to go. Magic carpet material of distinctly epic hue.

Proof positive that you can have a pilothouse that works, sparkling sailing, great billets for the troops as well as the cheque writers and an epic cockpit. From 2008 from the yard with the thoroughly unpronounceable name and loads of know how. Comes with everything imaginable for Med cruising and beyond.

Deeply cool blue yacht who has had the same helm from the beginning, she hatched 2001. Nice wing keel means you’re in the anchorage not outside it, peerless joinery and no bad habits. Owner’s love affair with her sadly over, as she stubbornly refuses to sprout 7 feet, hence she must be sold.

The Disco 55’ is a phenomenon, still in production, these yachts cross oceans, have mega adventures and take their owners and crews to all corners of the planet in comfort, safety and style. From 2002, this well sorted member of the sisterhood has new paint, nice updates and an encouragingly modest ask.

World ARC veteran, hatched 2009, this is a very special member of the sisterhood. Immaculately maintained, totally upgraded, Rassy aficionados will love her set up, and for those mere mortals merely wanting to sail blue water – this yacht absolutely must be on your list.

Chuck Paine and the Rival Bowman brigade from 2001, with sweet lines that belie her 4x4 blue water abilities. She has sailed from Blighty to Hawaii and many points between, and is now offered in gleaming good health, a testament to the incredible build and the care lavished upon her by her well travelled owners.

New age Contest, from Georg Nissen in 2007. Just about the perfect couple’s yacht, Contest build to a standard and never a price. Cruising kerfuffle abounds aboard, she also comes with gracious quarters for guests if you must. Compact and well sorted blue water conveyance.

Berrett and Racoupeau drew a great looking, fast cruising yacht and she hatched in 2003. This yacht will not age, she will just mellow. Specced to the gills, uber shiny and comes with an ask which is modest to a fault.

From 2010 with splendid drop keel, twin rudders and speedy sailing from Rob Humphreys. Real, sit down and see out deck saloon, she’s perfect for puddle jumping, yet plenty rugged and well-engineered for 7 Seas sailing too. Please also note her ask, as this yacht’s greatest modesty is most definitely her price.

The newest, shiniest of the sisterhood on the planet, she was born in 2009. Brought to life by Rival Bowman shipwrights, all the kit, caboodle and widgets are of the moment and she’s completely good to go. Also comes with captivating good looks and row away appeal in spades.

Built by Blighty’s finest in 1992 of tin. Strong and straightforward, geared up for crossing oceans in comfort and safety. Comes with surprisingly long legs for her size, and hears the call of the sea. Designed for a couple to sally forth, your guests will love their digs too.

The chaps from Botin & Carkeek know all about slippery hull forms and this yacht can motor! From 2008, with carbon spar, go faster gear in spades and all the cup collection kerfuffle. Also exceedingly good with Pimms and en-famille, with not a gorilla in sight.

Manageable tardis from the crustacean people, maple inside and Humphreys good looks outside. De-shelled 2003, she’s booted and suited for crossing oceans, sadly these owners have lacked the time to take her. The pitstops, polish and upgrades have been plentiful and we have high hopes that you’ll do better.

Neil Jeppesen and comes with plenty of Danish know how, from 2004. Born to regatta she comes with all the go faster gadgets including funky new carbon rigging, cherished and never put away wet. With also potter ‘though doesn’t hang about at it. All this for an ask, which seems to us to be embarrassingly modest.

From 2007, she is one of the last of her species, built by VT Halmatic and first wet 2006. Her owner’s plans were expansive and the widget list reflects the call of far distant shores. Sadly other fleet members intervened, just brushed up by the Berthon and price trimmed too. Great yacht.

Engineered for mile munching, built for comfort, legendary good looks. From 2005, skipper maintained, vastly over-widgeted and very underused. Her semi-displacement hull form gives you the rocket power to beat the weather, yet she runs on fumes at displacement speeds aided by her 490hp Cummins.

Aqua-Star have created magic with this beautifully built 2011 yacht. Epic sea keeping as standard but also with the addition of hydraulic stabilisers and the zero speed option. Roars around at over 20 knots, so perfect for Toad. No extras have been spared in this very high specification yacht, her condition is spectacular and the price trimmed to sell.

Smart, up to the minute Trader, with plenty of glamour from Tony Castro and epic joinery as you like. From 2008, 2 x 380hp Cummins, she is very short on engine hours at just over 400, we expect better from you. Seriously comfortable innards, command bridge and stuff, VAT may be reclaimed if you get the OK from George’s chaps.

Excellent offshore clockwork yacht to lines drawn by Andrew Wolstenholme, and built with considerable style and panache by the Hardy crew in 2009. Has many moving widgets and MANs provide the take off abilities. Owner’s elbow grease much in evidence.

TT Boat Designs and Dale from 2000 with 420hp Yanmars for the reliable take off and sea keeping with bells on. Aft cockpit version which puts her in hens’ teeth territory and is just the job for our generally miserable northern climes. Dale produce the aristocrats of the Nelson brand.

Without doubt the business, jaw dropping good looks, with TT Boat Designs sea keeping and Dale build, she is the stuff of myth and certainly out picnics the lot of them! From 2009, twin 575hp Cats on shafts and push button everything as you like.

Extraordinary motor yacht from the board of a design wizard well known for his multihull designs which are the toast of the spare hull fraternity. From 2008, she’s long, lean, with an easily driven hull, single engine and she’s fab in a sea. Conceived and built to support a race campaign, she has been superb at this, committee boat work and above all as a long legged cruising yacht. Some day, more yachts will be built this way - just add water.

Berthon represent Dashew Offshore’s range of 4x4

motor yachts in Europe. Built of tin by Circa Marine

in New Zealand, they are the toughest rat race

escape capsules on the market. From 64’ to 110’

there is around 1,100 feet of FPB afloat or under

construction. For the uninitiated, there are a few

imperatives that are available aboard all FPBs

• Safest, more comfortable means of crossing oceans

• Recovery from capsize

• Range of no less than 5,000 nautical miles

• Ability to be handled with minimum crew

• All main systems are doubled up

• Solar array and hugh battery capacity gives up to a week at anchor without switching on the gen

• Total accessibility of all the systems onboard for easy maintenance

The first European purchased FPB left New

Zealand early Spring 2014 arriving 3 months

later in Guernsey after 12,500 uneventful nautical

miles. The top speed achieved (surfing) during this

passage was 22 knots.

For further information about these

extraordinary motor yachts,

please call or email us.

Chuck Paine in 1997, with Morris Yachts who are a thoroughly class act. Their joinery, systems and attention to detail set a benchmark that others seek to follow. This yacht may not have done all 7 seas, but she has been far. Big refit at Morris 2008, she sparkles as she should.

No fuss, never a drama, cruising conveyance as only really Amel can. From 2001, her owners picked her up in La Rochelle and have been cruising virtually ever since. Much loved, cherished, updated and polished, new crew now required with younger knees and stuff to keep up the good work.

Judel Vrolijk magic from 2006, cherished from the get-go, she is to be sold as part of a fleet reduction programme. Comes with absolutely all the cruising kerfuffle, as well as a set of deeply cool North Sails for when you want to floor it.

Middle sized Rassyfarian from 2002, which is perfect for mile munching. Already in the sunshine, so no Biscay schlep for her new yachtsman to master. Enviable blue water spec including shiny new genset and stacks more.

Very smart crustacean from the Humphreys board and hatched at SYS in 2002. With her first helm, she comes with some of the best veneer matching that we have ever seen. Practical, does what it says on the tin, blue water conveyance. Also loves small people, and is compact enough for local cruising, picnics and pottering.

Go anywhere, do the world, tin sailing yacht from Down Under, to unmistakable designs from Van de Stadt in 2005. Glam high gloss teak innards, a pilothouse the size you’d expect on an 80 footer. Mega nautical makeover 2009 in the USA and now 2014 by the Berthon Boat Co including nice new decks.

De Vries Lentsch and the Jongert gang in 1983, beautifully. This yacht has benefitted from a handful of owners, all of whom have expended the necessary truckloads of splosh to ensure that she is now a 21st century mile muncher of distinction. Perfect for high, low or indeed mid- latitude, offering a powerful, comfortable and safe platform for all manner of adventures – Motorsailor, she definitely isn’t...

2011 build, she is hull 5 of this funky Ron Holland line. Loaded to the gills with bluewater kit - and its all absolutely the right stuff. Easy handling, her interior is a triumph in maple and Frevoijk design flair. Her entertainment system would be the envy of many superyachts, discover as our chums in Marchwood are fond of saying, the difference.

The best of the Nautor legend from 2003, this yacht is available fresh from a mammoth nautical makeover involving many truckloads of cash, and looks as fresh as a daisy. She is probably the most sorted and definitely the shiniest of this illustrious sisterhood. Perfect to cruise, will regatta with style – just add azure water.

From 2005, she epitomises the spirit of Nautor Swan – a fast sailing yacht that will regatta with aplomb, yet will also mile munch with her chunkier contemporaries in safety, comfort and at speed. Many yachts carry the cruiser racer moniker, however, few deliver. Much uprated by this owner, also comes with row away appeal in spades.

She is promised new paint this winter, so her new yachtsman will get the glamour. Manageable and achingly pretty Nautor Swan.

Breathtakingly pretty yacht, she launched in 1989. Just the job to get you noticed, she is also a whizz at mile munching either on your own account or on the circuit. Thoroughly class act accessible with modest wallet damage.
