Sound knowledge of the relevant hardship policies, pracces and services offered by relevant State and Federal Governments Departments, ulity providers and other major creditors as appropriate to the client group. Working knowledge of the legislaon in relaon to credit and debt, parcularly the Naonal Credit Code, the Bankruptcy Act, Debt Recovery Legislaon and the Energy Retail Code. A community Services Diploma (Financial Counselling) and are a member of the Financial and Consumer Rights Council

Preferable 2 years demonstrated experience in a financial counselling or related role and an understanding of issues relevant to the community service sector
