• Design as a measure of balance use for older people in clinical setting

• To assess person’s ability to perform several COMMON DAILY LIVING TASK SAFELY

• Assess ability to maintain positions or perform movements of increasing difficulty progressing from sitting postion to bilateral stance and then to tandem and single leg stance

• Scoring : • is based on 14 item that are to

common to daily life activities • Includes both simple mobility task

and more difficult task

• Administration time :• 15 mins

• Tools : • Stopwatch• Ruler• Chair• Bed • Stool • Limitations :• 15 mins to administer
