As you make your summer vacation plans, we would like to remind you that your child willneed to start school on the first day. If your child is not in school on the first day, he/she maylose his/her spot at the school. It is the District's intent to fill vacant spots at our school siteswithin the first three days of school so as to stabilize classroom enrollments and supportuninterrupted instructional time.The first day of school for the year round schools in the San Mateo/Foster City School District,will be Monday, August 1, 2011. Please make a note of this date on your calendar so that yourvacation schedule will not conflict with this day. Please also note that the first day of schoolwill be a full day of school. Ifyour child will not be in attendance on August 1, 2011, you mustcall Mrs. Heneghan to set up an appointment to discuss your plans.
