Currently an analyst for the metals and mining sector. President of Student Council, TanenbaumCHAT Kimel, Vaughan, ON 2015-2016 Elected Grade Representative in grade 10, Vice President in grade 11 and President in grade 12. Presidential duties included organizing entertaining, educational and spirited events on a monthly basis and being an ambassador for the school. Some of the new events brought to campus included working with administration to institute grade wide monthly town halls and introducing the school’s first ever House System. This engendered team affinity, cohesion and pride through different events among the Houses. National VP and Member, NextJEN (business and philanthropic organization), Vaughan, ON 2014- 2016 In 2015 organized a road running race to raise funds for a Toronto charity fighting hunger in the Jewish Toronto community. Coordinated a team of 15 volunteers and over 100 participants. In 2016 coordinated a school-wide sports day for over 500 participants under the program’s auspices. Raised close to $10,000 for the charity. Each year concluded with a ‘Dragons Den’ competition, presenting the business and logistical concepts of these events to a panel of 3 business leaders. Volunteer, Friendship Circle, Vaughan, ON 2016 This is a worldwide organization for children with special needs. On a weekly basis I spent time engaging in activities with a special needs boy in my community. ADDITIONAL INFROMATION Excellent debate and presentation skills: Honourable Mentions awards at the Jewish Canadian Youth Model United Nations competition (2014 and 2015).
