The Missouri Department of Agriculture (MDA) has funds available to assist Missouri Producers with the cost associated with relabeling of Missouri agriculture products for retail sale
The “Missouri Grown” Promotion Program is funded through the MDA’s Ag Business Development Division
The program will provide cost-share assistance to producers for the cost of incorporating the “Missouri Grown” logo on their product for retail sale
Funding is limited and reimbursement requests are available on afirst-come, first-serve basis and must be postmarked by March 30, 2017 to be considered
Products grown/raised by Missouri producers or further processed and packaged by Missouri businesses are eligible. Use of the Missouri Grown logo must be preapproved by the MDA
Only the costs incurred after January 1, 2017 will be eligible for cost-share reimbursement
Individuals first must complete and return the Missouri Grown cost-share application for prior approval and to receive a copy of the Missouri Grown logo
Once the logo is incorporated, return paid receipts of invoices, along with samples of or proof of completed labeling that incorporates the Missouri Grown logo
All reimbursement must be postmarked by March 30, 2017 to be considered eligible
Reimbursement rate is 75% of labeling/packaging cost up to $1,000 for label/packaging incorporating the “Missouri Grown” logo
Total Available Funds: $50,000
Prior to incurring expenses contact Reagan Wempe at; [email protected] or by phone at 573-751-8596 to ensure funds have not been exhausted and to receive a copy of the “Missouri Grown” logo
Based on the receipt of the completed application by the Missouri Department of Agriculture, reimbursements will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis until the limited program funds are exhausted

All requests for cost-share funding must include all of the following:
Completed cost-share application PDF Document
Copy of paid invoices/receipts
Evidence of completed labeling/packaging materials (Ex. label, PLU sticker, photo of printed boxes, etc.)
Completed Vendor Input Form PDF Document
Include all necessary documentation when applying for cost-sharefunds. Incomplete applications cannot be processed and will be returned with a request for additional information.
