Achieving the most from a HRSG requires that the generators operate as efficient as possible. Fabric penetration seals offer many benefits and are ideal for installation on boilers where space is limited. They provide greater lateral and axial movement capability over metal seals and their unique clamping design prevents over-extension failure.
These seals are internally insulated with outer cover temperature ranging between 93°C/200°F and 177°C/350°F; dependent upon ventilation and proximity to other heat sources. Also, the in-ternal pipe insulation does not compress during movement and is rated at 760°C/1400°F.
More importantly, these seals are gas tight and minimize escaping heat and gases to protect nearby personnel and the environment.
