BEN BREAKFAST SHOW


The BBS programme broadcast an impartial contemporary depiction of the societies in which the ethnic communities and people live their lives. The show deals with current issues, news-affairs and international events from African-Caribbean perspective. The show is hosted by BEN Television anchors and team. Interviews and insightful documentaries series and one-off shows are highlighted.

The BBS also have ad-hoc special and political debates sections.

IGBO AMAKA

Igboamaka is presented by Mazi Valentine Akudinobi (Ogbuefi Nnenyelugo). It is

produced and directed by Mazi Uche Nwachukwu and Oriaku Esther Nnenna Akudinobi

respectively.

IGBOAMAKA is a cultural programme that comes up On every Friday night, from 10pm to 11pm UK time. It is presented in Igbo language to demonstrate the uniqueness of African Languages.Igboamaka TV programme showcases the different

facets of Igbo culture: dressing, dancing, writing, poetry, food and most importantly language and history. This is because we believe that when people understand who they really are, they will be proud of themselves and their heritage, then they will be willing to maintain their values and beliefs.It promotes Igbo businesses, organisations,

associations, artistes and leaders, both at home and in the diaspora.It has an incredibly reach as Igbos in the UK, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean Islands watches it.

The programme is set up :- 1. To educate African and non

Africans in the Diaspora on how to cook different African national dishes in a quick, easy and healthy way.

2. To introduce the origin/ anthropology of African cuisine among Africans and wide. To provide relevant information regarding the cuisine.

3. To encourage mix marriages learning how to prepare African 'cuisine'.

4. To teach young mothers/families in the Diaspora how to evaluate changes in cooking an African cuisine.

5. To also encourage younger children in the Diaspora to be proud of their ethnic food.

THE LIFESTYLE SHOWTHE LIFESTYLE SHOW on BEN TV, the premier Caribbean programme on BEN TV is a fast, lively, informative, educative and entertaining magazine-formatted television programme. The show is presented by award winning Broadcaster/Presenter, Pam Joseph (former-Choice FM News Editor).

THE LIFESTYLE SHOW launched its first programme on November 3rd 2006 and has been growing from strength to strength. The show is aired every Friday between 10.00am and 12.00-Noon, repeated Saturday between 1.30am and 3.30am and on Mondays between 5.00pm and 7.00pm.
