Professional Responsibilities:

Preparation of Inspection and Test Plan, checklist, procedures.

Review of Material Test Certificates for Raw Materials like Pipes, Fittings, and Flanges & Welding Consumables.

Carrying out preliminary inspection of materials of construction & reviewing the material mill certificate.

Provide technical assistance, direction, and support to the construction and installation activities for all mechanical works.

Provide Construction Method Statements and input to Engineering as required

Ensure that Service Orders are raised on Specialist Vendors and that mobilization dates are scheduled in line with planned dates.

Ensure that all Materials, Tools and Equipment including those of Specialist Vendors are mobilized in line with planned dates.

Handling man powers based on their skills and utilizing the same to carry out the work at optimum level.

Ensuring proper dissemination of technical information among company and client.

Tracking project progression using project management tools.

Liaise with Construction Supervisors on day to day issues.

Delivered status reports to senior management regularly (Weekly/monthly).

Conducting Welder Qualification Tests with client representative and preparation & issue welder ID cards for qualified welders.

Checking of pipe spool fabrication based on approved spool isometric drawing & bill of materials. Piping spools daily Fit-up & welding inspection reports and arranges the PWHT & NDE activities.

To assist the Site Superintendent & coordinate the supervisor’s activity, carry out & implement the QA/QC program, arrange & conduct meeting under the Site Superintendent direction.

Monitoring Post weld Heat Treatment Process for Carbon steel & Alloy steels.

Inspection of edge preparation & fit up inspection activities against fabrication drawings.

Visual inspection of completed joints. Dimensional inspection, release for NDT, PWHT

Sand Blasting, Painting Wrapping and Coating Inspection and Witnessing for Holiday test.

Interpretation of Radiography films as per client specs/codes and review of NDT and PWHT reports.

Preparation and maintaining inspection records as per ISO and client specification requirements.

Review of test packages for welding and NDT completion, issue release for hydro static test
