Installation Instructions:
Belting Leather hides are precut to size or shipped uncut toyour fabricator or job site.We recommend that the BeltingLeather acclimate for a minimum of 7–10 days onsite in orderto allow the moisture content to adjust to the environment.
Belting Leather should be installed on 5/8" finish grade plywoodfor new building installation and a 1/4" multiply over existingdrywall using premium waterbased adhesive. It is importantthat the surface be clean, dustfree and level, and we recommendthat all other construction be completed prior to the applicationof Belting Leather.
Spinneybeck provides further detailed installation directionswith each order.

Maintenance:
It is easy to maintain Spinneybeck Belting Leather with regulardusting and spot cleaning with cool water and a soft cloth.Occasional use of Spinneybeck leather maintenance products isrecommended.Other cleaners, such as saddle soaps or householdcleaners that contain harsh chemicals, alcohol or ink removersshould never be applied to Belting Leather.
All Spinneybeck Leather is tanned, dyed, and finished in Italy,according to the most stringent environmental requirements.Spinneybeck Leathers are GREENGUARD™ Certified.

Spinneybeck Belting Leather can bespecified for a wide range of applicationsincluding walls and custom furniture.Belting Leather, a 100% vegetabletanned, full grain, aniline dyed leatherwas originally used as pulley belts inmachinery.The thick, firm feel andsmooth finish is created from a uniqueblend of mimosa and chestnut bark.Sourced from a premium selection ofEuropean raw material, SpinneybeckBelting Leather is processed in theSanta Croce region of Italy, renownedfor its heritage in producing some of thefinest quality vegetable tanned leathers.
Available in an exciting range of neutralsand signature brights, Spinneybeck BeltingLeather is ideal for precise and refinedapplications with no reveal, includingwall applications or as an inlay for adesk or table. Belting Leather is 3mmthick; the hides are 18 sq. ft., thusallowing for shapes as large as 36" x48" to be cut and applied to verticalsurfaces on a plywood substrate.The pliability of the product allows itto be woven or wrapped aroundcolumns for a dramatic and artfulinstallation. Spinneybeck Belting Leatheralso features a protective water resistantfinish making it suitable for residential,corporate, retail, hospitality oreducational environments.
