Be sure to check the machine for broken or loose parts or bits before starting
Eye protection should be worn at all times.
Only sand with material seated firmly on the table and on the downward left side of the disc
Broken belts and any unusual sound should be immediately reported to the instructor
Do not sand parts less than 4 inches in length or reach across the sander. Injury may occur.
Most sanders can be angled up to 45 degrees. Adjustments to the table should be made with the power off.
Do NOT force the stock against the sander – it may cause the wood to burn!
Remember the two most important safety rules1. Wear safety glasses at all times2. Use common sense. If and operation
seems dangerous or you are unsure of it DON’T DO IT!!!
