Jacquet River School has a Little Free Library!!

Jacquet River School is excited to be the stewards of the Little Free Library, on behalf of their

neighbors and our community!

How does it work?

JRS’s Little Free Library is a way to share all kinds of favorite books - books that teach, intrigue,

and engage. The Little Library belongs to everyone, and anyone may use it; it is a community

resource and a way to give back. Little Free Library books are always a gift - Never for sale!

Take a Book: If you see something you would like to read it, take it. Check inside to see if there is a

note from whoever gave it. You can even take more than one.

Share a Book: Once you are done reading the book, you can return it to the Little Library or pass it

on to a friend. If you can’t bear to part with it, keep it and bring back a different book to share.

Return a Book - Do your part and keep the Little Library stocked with books; you can donate any of

your old favorites. Pay it Forward!!

Everyone is invited to begin using our Little Free Library as of June 23rd, 2015. The book-house

is situated outside of the school next to the fence by the Lions Center at 3970 Main Street in

Belledune. For more information please contact Jacquet River School at 237-3200.

Message from Bathurst/Belledune RCMP – RSC3 – 2015-06-24

The Bathurst/Belledune RCMP would like to thank all the local volunteers and residents who helped out

at the RCMP Musical Ride on June 12th and 13th. The two day event was a huge success and showed how

much class the people of Belledune have. Without our local partners this event would have never

happened. Special thanks to Mayor Ron Bourque for his leadership in this endeavour.

The Bathurst/Belledune RCMP would like to remind motorists to be extra careful on the roads at this

time of the year. There have been a growing number of motor vehicle collisions involving moose and

other wildlife in the last few weeks, including one fatality in the Free Grant, NB area. Motorists can

improve their road safety by reducing their speed and making sure that all cellular phones and other

devices are properly stored while driving. The highest risk times of collision with wildlife is typically at

dusk and dawn, however these collisions can occur any time of the day.

The Bathurst/Belledune RCMP would like the help of the community. With the increase in international

ships which will be coming to the Port of Belledune, we would like to have your help in reporting

suspicious activity. If you notice suspicious vehicles with out of province license plates and/or suspicious

characters we ask that you report this to us as soon as possible. It may be nothing, however we want to

be sure that your community remains safe and free of these sorts of people.

If you require assistance that is urgent dial 911, if not urgent or just have a question call us any time at

1-888-506-RCMP(7267).

Sgt. Benoit Jolette
