H ave you ever seen another girl at school and thought: I really wish I looked more like her! Or have
you ever tried to change your appear-ance in an attempt to hide one of your “flaws”? If so, you’re definitely not alone. “The thing is, girls always think there’s someone prettier, smarter, more athletic or creative than them,” Bella Thorne explains to twist. “I think a lot of girls do [feel pressure to look perfect], and it’s unfair. No one is perfect.”
And while Bella may have played the Queen Bee in her latest film, The DUFF, like other teens, she’s never felt like the all-together, popular girl in real life. “I’m not perfect,” she tells twist. “I never will be. Insecurity is something that I
deal with. I went through an awkward stage and even though I wasn’t really judged by others when I was younger, it happens now on a daily basis! Every time I post a picture or am on a red carpet, there’s someone judging me.”
However, over the years Bella has real-ized that what others consider to be imperfections, aren’t at all. “Beauty and the idea of what is attractive is so subjective,” she says. “I’ve learned to let go of the criticism and just love me for me.” So, how can one go about doing the same thing? “Accept your imperfec-tions!” Bella smiles. “People will judge you, but you just have to be the best you and not let them determine what beauty is for you. You’re perfect being you!” a
Bella’s journey to loving exactly who she is!
“We all go through awkward stages!”
“Love yourself and your imperfections!”
Why wait for someone else to notice how fab you
look? Look in the mirror and admire your beauty!
Stop putting yourself down because you aren’t as
tall as your BFF or as skinny as the girl who sits
by you in class. You’re the best version of YOU!
Instead of letting your flaws cause you insecurity,
find strength in them! For example, if you’re quiet,
think of it as meaning you’re a great secret-keeper
and a super-trustworthy person!
Compliment yourself every day!
Don’t compare yourself!
Flip your flaw!

a “I don’t understand how girls can pick one another apart,” Bella says.
Selena Gomez! Katy Perry! Think they’re perfect? Think again!
“I know I’m not perfect,”
Selena Gomez declares. “I
just try to be the best I can be, but I know I have a lot of people that support me
and love me.” Sel’s friends, family and
fans pull her through!
Ever since Lucy Hale was cast on PLL, she’s been fighting
off rumors that she’s perfect. “I think it’s not re-alistic, because I’m not,” Lucy opens up with a smile. “It’s
very flattering, but it’s also
not true. I’m far from perfect.”
“We all have flaws,” Pretty
Little Liars star Ashley Benson
confesses. That’s why it’s so hard for
Ash to play the always-put-
together Hanna Marin on the ABC Family
show. “No one looks like her [in real life],” she laments.
“I think some-times people
think [stars] are perfect,” Katy Perry admits.
“[But] we know we’re not perfect. I think it’s important
[to] start break-ing down the idea that to achieve your dream, you
always have to be perfect.”
Be flawsome!Flawsome means someone is awesome, but
not without their flaws. Every piece of you
