What is FOSCL? To help foster, create, and support local friends
of the library groups, and to provide a means for these groups to work together for the betterment of library service in South Carolina.

format between the executive director of Friends of Libraries USA, Sandy Dolnick, and Peter Blum, a former FOLUSA Board member, they discuss some of the hundreds of ways Friends groups can help enrich the services of their libraries. But they highlight the four main activities that Friends groups can support: volunteerism, fundraising, programming and public relations/advocacy.
