Starbucks Cold Cup Cozy

Materials:

Size H/5.0mm crochet hook 1 skein/ball of any worsted weight yarn of your choice Tapestry Needle Stitches Needed: Chain Stitch (chain stitch) Single Crochet (single crochet) Slip Stitch (slip stitch)

Pattern: Starbucks Cold Cup Cozy

Round 1: Chain 38 stitches. Use a slip stitch to join the ends of the chain together, making sure the chain is not twisted. Chain 1.

Round 2-3: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around. Join to the beginning of the round with a slip stitch and chain 1.

Round 4: *single crochet decrease, then work 1 single crochet in each of the next 17 stitches* - repeat two times. Join to the beginning of the round with a slip stitch and chain 1.

Round 5-6: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around. Join to the beginning of the round with a slip stitch and chain 1.

Round 7: *single crochet decrease, then work 1 single crochet in each of the next 16 stitches* - repeat two times. Join to the beginning of the round with a slip stitch and chain 1.

Round 8-9: Work 1 single crochet in each stitch around. Join to the beginning of the round with a slip stitch and chain 1.

Cozy Puff Stitch Scarf

This scarf is cozy and still light enough to wear in the spring, thanks to its openwork stitching. Add fringe for fun! Materials: 2 skeins/balls of any worsted weight yarn of your choice (Red Heart Super Saver or Red Heart

Soft are good options) Size US K10.5 (6.50mm) hook Tapestry Needle Stitches Needed: Chain Stitch (ch st) Double Crochet (dc) Modified Puff Stitch (mod-puff st):

o Yarn over and insert your hook into the next stitch. Yarn over and draw up one loop. Three loops will now be on the hook.

o Yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch as before. Yarn over and draw up one more loop. There will now be five loops on the hook.

o Yarn over and pull through all five loops.

Pattern: Cozy Puff Stitch Scarf

Round 1) Chain 26 stitches.

Round 2) Starting in the third chain space from hook, *work a modified puff stitch and chain 1*. Repeat across. In the last space, do not work a modified puff stitch; instead, work a double crochet. This will give each row an off-set, checkered look. Chain 3 and turn.

Round 3-122) Repeat round 2, making sure to double crochet in the last space of each row, chain 3 and turn. As you work, each row should contain 10 modified puff stitches and 1 double crochet stitch, resulting in an overall 11 non-chain stitches (there should be 10 chain stitches per row excluding the turning chain stitches). These 11 non-chain stitches make it easy to keep count as you crochet.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Fringe: Take a few 6-inch pieces of yarn and tie through the ends of the scarf with a slip knot. Repeat as many times as desired across the edges of the scarf.

Coaster Pattern:

Rnd 1: Make a magic circle and chain 2. Work 8 half-double crochet in the center of the circle. Join to the beginning of the round with a slip stitch and chain 2.

Rnd 2: Work 2 half-double crochet in each chain stitch around. Join to the beginning of the round with a slip stitch and chain 2.

Rnd 3: *2 half-double crochet in first stitch, 1 half-double crochet in next stitch* - repeat around. Join to the beginning of the round with a slip stitch and chain 2.

Rnd 4: *2 half-double crochet in first stitch, 1 half-double crochet in each chain of the next 2 stitches* - repeat around. Join to the beginning of the round with a slip stitch and chain 2.

Rnd 5: *2 half-double crochet in first stitch, 1 half-double crochet in each chain of the next 3 stitches* - repeat around. Join to the beginning of the round with a slip stitch and fasten off, leaving a long tail.
