Putting First Things First Exemplary Leaders
Our school-wide expectations are PRIDE as listed below. Each week, each team recognizes one student for being an “Exemplary Leader,” someone who’s doing a great job meeting and/or
exceeding our expectations at WEMS. These are our exemplary leaders this week:
Dalton Ground-Pirates
Mackenzie Colter-Buccaneers
Gabrielle Burns-Warriors
Afra Miah-Cavaliers

Study Tip for the Week • Space out your studying, you'll learn more by studying a little every day instead
of waiting to cram at the last minute. By studying every day, the material will stay in your long-term memory but if you try to study at the last moment, the material will only reside in your short-term memory that you'll easily forget.
THINK WIN WIN!WEMS STUDENTS EXCEL ON KPREP!WEMS was recently recognized as Distinguished and High Performing School and we want to celebrate the success of the WEMS students by recognizing all of the students that got Proficient and Distinguished in every subject of KPREP Testing. We recently had a Pep Rally to celebrate the success of our students and all of the students that achieved this remarkable accomplishment are pictured below. I also wanted to let you know that we will be sending home Distinguished Car Decals with students sometime next week. Please display these proudly because WEMS is an amazing school and should be proud of what your children accomplished during the 2014-15 school year. Congratulations to all students that excelled on KPREP Testing.!!
