What is Beer Hoptacular?

Craft Brewing: The Beer and the Culture!Over the past three years, attendees had the opportunity to taste and compare from a selection of hundreds of craft beers and specialty beer varieties supplied by breweries from across the country. Beer Hoptacular celebrates the new craft brewers on the scene and works with the established brewers to bring specialty pours for their fans to enjoy.

Home Brewing Competition: The Spirit of the Artist!Over 20 home brewing clubs from around the Midwest submit their contributions to be judged by an official panel. Bell’s Brewery sponsors this competition and Country Malt Group donates the malt. This passionate community adds additional credibility to the Beer Hoptacular experience and continues to grow!

DIY Fun: Smile People!Beer Hoptacular fans are encouraged to have fun and learn more about the craft beer community. Events include music, food pairings, brewers and speakers to spark conversation, hands-on tutorials, quality food for purchase from Chicago’s best and support for charities like Rock for Kids! This year we move into Lacuna Artist Studio Lofts and are working on exciting plans to get the artist community involved to celebrate the art of craft brewing!
