Bedroom Collection The Dovetail Bedroom Collection is proudly Made in the USA by over 500 craftsmen and craftswomen in our factories in the Virginia mountains.

The collection features Solid White American Oak solids and white oak veneers. By using ATAP™ (Accelerate The Aging Process) technology, we have kept the splits, cracks, knots and the bold grain pattern found in oak lumber to create a reclaimed wood look in this beautiful and unique bedroom collection. This collection is made exclusively for consumers who understand and value a reclaimed wood look.

The dominant design feature is the dovetail, a wood joinery technique dating back thousands of years and which we display prominently near the top of each bed post, the front right and front left top rim of each case piece, and in all four comers of each mirror.

Until now, only Mother Nature could make wood look this good.

The Dovetail Bedroom Collection by Vaughan-Bassett comes in four fantastic finishes - Java, Mystic Grey, Natural Oak, and Sun Bleached White.

The Board & Batten Bed was inspired by the construction of an antiqued, hand hewn canoe. This design has been a

trademark in quality home construction for over a century.

The Dovetail bed offers two footboard options. The signature footboard features

solid white oak 6 x 6 inch timbers simulating a platform look.

All case pieces feature solid white oak drawer fronts that include ultra smooth

drawer interiors and self-closing dual steel ball-bearing drawer guides located under

each drawer.10

oak post and dovetailed cap rail with veneered panel.

We have used ATAP™ Technology (Accelerate The Aging Process) to highlight the splits, cracks, knots and bold grain pattern only found with American White Oak. This collection is designed exclusively for consumers who understand and value a reclaimed wood look.

Beyond the wood itself, the most significant design elements are the dovetail joints featured in every piece of the collection. Dovetail joiner is a technique which pre-dates written history found on furniture in the tombs of Egyptian Pharaoh’s dating back 4,000 years. We are excited to introduce our new patent-pending interpretation of this ageless technique.
