Tips For Living
The following were suggested by a mental health clinic:
1) Concentrate on your good qualities. Whatever it is about you that’s best—a generous nature,
a sympathetic ear, an infectious smile, a deep sense of loyalty—remember to keep it foremost.
2) Face your problems honestly. Learn what’s going wrong
and what you can do to improve things.
3) Be kind to people; avoid hurting them. Look for good qualities, not faults, in yourself and others.
4) Be tolerant; accept people as they are. Above all, bear with
them—they have to put up with you.
5) Look upon your failures as lessons in progress. Remember your successes and don’t spend too much time
worrying about the failures.
6) Remember that everyone is occasionally worried or discouraged. Accept that fact, and keep going.
7) Remember that people, not things, are most important.

Sermon Topics for Today
Morning: Why Do Bad Things Hap-
pen to Good People?
Evening: Could a Gentile Be
Justified?
FOOD FOR THOUGHT He who heeds instruction and correc-
tion is [not only himself] in the way of life
[but also] is a way of life for others. And he
who neglects or refuses reproof [not only
himself] goes astray [but also] causes to err
and is a path toward ruin for others.
- Proverbs 10:17 - Amplified
A Word To The Wise The train of brotherly love runs on the
track of concern and compassion.
If you live right each day, you will be
neither afraid of tomorrow nor ashamed of
yesterday.
If you want to be the picture of health,
you’d better have a happy frame of mind.
