Encountering the Poor as a Way of Life
National Catholic Broadcasting Council is planning a week of Masses for the Poor which will culminate
with the Mass on Sunday Nov. 17 declared World Day of the Poor by Pope Francis.
On Nov. 11 the initial mass will be celebrated to honour the work of MARGARET MYATT, CSJ
whose Gospel vision “that all may be one” inspired other religious to join together to create the
ministry of Becoming Neighbours. This mass will be broadcasted on Sunday Nov. 17.

BONNIE MOSER, FCJ has been elected General Superior of the Society. Bonnie, member of the corporation of Becoming Neighbours, a Joint Apostolic Ministry, belongs to the same community as our own Lois Anne Bordowitz, FCJ.
With joy and gratitude to God, on Oct. 26, Becoming Neighbours Latina Women’s Circle celebrated their Seventh Anniversary of Inception. What amazing women! In these seven years they have moved from postures of isolation into a sense of community grounded in mutuality and a deep concern for inclusiveness and reconciliation.
They have supported and celebrated each other in the mysteries of life, from birth to death, and all the “stuff in- between”.

Neighbours. As a companion, Frances has accompanied Liliana and family, Agard, Marisol, Adriana, Mayra and presently Emebet. Overwhelming gratitude was expressed to the former President MARY JANE LEONARD, CND for her leadership.
