BECOME A POWERFUL ADVOCATE FOR JUSTICE
Law Alumni Board president-elect Joanna Plichta Boisen, class of 2006, (pictured right) has won several awards and widespread recognition for her efforts to encourage pro bono work by attorneys.
The ideals of equal justice permeate Seattle University School of Law, from our curriculum to our centers and institutes and student activities.
Our students are dedicated volunteers, interviewing clients at free legal clinics, doing know-your-rights presentations to youth in detention, and conducting research for legal aid organizations working on systemic change.
Faculty members advocate for underserved populations and work to right wrongs. Our graduates serve the vital needs of their communities and are leaders in their professions.
