Le-Sel (Pty) Ltd trading as Beauty Factory (“Beauty Factory”) operates the Beauty Factory Loyalty Programme. The aforesaid Programme is also known as “Beauty Factory Family” or “BFF”, and in these terms and conditions it will be referred to as the “Programme”.
By participating in the Programme, all persons who participate in the Programme (“Participants”) agree to be bound by and adhere to these terms and conditions, as amended, altered or updated from time to time. A person may not participate in the Programme unless they accept these terms and conditions, as may be updated or altered by Beauty Factory from time to time. Beauty Factory may amend, alter or update these terms and conditions at any time by publishing the amended, altered or updated terms and conditions (“Updated Terms”) on Beauty Factory’s website. The Participant will be automatically bound by the Updated Terms, unless the Participant notifies Beauty Factory in writing that the Participant does not accept the Updated Terms. If the Participant provides Beauty Factory with such a notification, the Participant’s participation in the Programme will immediately be terminated.
Participation in the Programme is open to all South African residents who possess a valid South African Identity Number (or foreign passport number) and a physical address and contact details within the Republic of South Africa. The Participant must provide proof of these details to Beauty Factory.
Participation in the Programme only starts when Beauty Factory has received a completed, signed application form and has granted membership to the Participant. Application forms can be obtained from participating stores. Beauty Factory reserves the right to grant, decline or terminate a Participant’s membership and/or participation in the Programme. Application forms must be submitted through any of Beauty Factory’s recognised application channels, which include in-store submissions.
All cards issued to Participants by Beauty Factory (“BFF Cards”) will remain the property of Beauty Factory. Participants must return their cards to Beauty Factory if the Programme or their participation is terminated.
BFF Cards can be used in any of the Beauty Factory stores as well as at participating retailers selected by Beauty Factory from time to time (“Participating Retailers”).
For each transaction by the Participant at a Participating Retailer, the Participant will receive 10% back of that transaction’s value in the form of a credit known as “Beauty Bucks”. Beauty Factory may change the aforesaid percentage from time to time in its sole and absolute discretion.

2. YOU CAN START GETTING BEAUTY BUCKS BACK IMMEDIATELY BY SWIPING YOUR BFF CARD (IF THERE’S NOT ONE ATTACHED, WE’LL GIVE YOU ONE WHEN YOU BRING THIS FORM INTO YOUR NEAREST BEAUTY FACTORY STORE)
3. BRING YOUR CARD BACK INTO STORE NEXT TIME AND YOU CAN USE YOUR BEAUTY BUCKS TO PAY FOR YOU PURCHASE**.

The BFF Card must be shown to the Participating Retailer when the purchase is made in order for Beauty Bucks to be allocated. If the Participant fails to show the BFF Card, no Beauty Bucks will be allocated in respect of that particular purchase. A purchase cannot be recorded for purposes of the Programme after the purchase has been made. No allocations of Beauty Bucks will be made retrospectively.
The allocation of Beauty Bucks will not reflect on the Participant’s Beauty Factory account immediately. It can take up to a calendar month for the allocation of Beauty Bucks in respect of a particular purchase to show on the Participant’s account.Beauty Bucks cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, can only be used by the Participant to purchase products at a Beauty Factory shop and may not be transferred to any other party. Beauty Bucks will expire three years after they were allocated.Participants may only participate in the Programme if they agree to accept monthly statements reflecting the Beauty Bucks accrued to them.
The BFF Card cannot be used as a debit, credit or cheque card.
The BFF Card is personal to a Participant and may not be shared. The BFF Card may only be used by one Participant and only for that Participant’s purchases. Participants may not transfer their cards to other persons.
Beauty Factory will be entitled to sell, cede, assign, transfer or in any other way alienate or dispose of any or all of its rights and obligations under the Programme without the prior approval of any Participant.
The Participant may not abuse or misuse the BFF Card or in any manner manipulate or tamper or interfere with the Programme or its operation. Abuse, misuse or fraudulent use of the BFF Card can result in Beauty Factory terminating the Participant’s membership of the Programme and instituting legal proceedings against the Participant.
The BFF Card may not be used in conjunction with any other Beauty Factory loyalty programme or related feature, benefit or promotion. However, Beauty Factory may, at its discretion, choose to allow this from time to time.
Beauty Factory will not share your personal details with another company unless it is necessary for the operation of the Programme or for sending the Participant marketing material or information about the Programme or Beauty Factory, its products and activities. The Participant may opt-out of receiving such material or information by contacting Beauty Factory and informing Beauty Factory of this.
If a BFF Card is lost or stolen, the Participant must immediately notify Beauty Factory.
Beauty Factory, its directors, officers, employees, associates, agents, contractors and consultants (“Indemnified Parties”) shall not be liable for any claim, liability, cost, expense or penalty (“Claims”) suffered or incurred by any Participant as a result of participation in the Programme, irrespective of the nature of such Claims and how they arose or were incurred. By participating in the Programme, the Participant indemnifies the Indemnified Parties and holds them harmless from any Claims suffered or incurred as a result of the Participant’s participation in the Programme
In the event of a dispute regarding any aspect of the Programme, a Participant’s participation in it and/or these terms and conditions, Beauty Factory’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
Beauty Factory will be entitled to amend, alter or terminate the Programme or any aspect of it. Termination of the Programme will not affect Beauty Bucks already allocated to a Participant at that the time of termination.
