Back to basics. The BeatPorn™ series is designed to be the Swiss Army Knife of demanding DJs who want to be a step ahead of the crowd, smash the conventions and get the fun back into mixing by using digital DJ gear's most recent enhancements to the fullest. The birth of the series marks the relaunch of Danton Eeprom's Fondation Records and embodies the labels new philosophy: no-nonsense, high-quality dancefloor material from a selected few world-class producers that will allow DJs to lay a rock-solid backbone on which to build up their set. The series will quickly grow

into a vivid palette of thumping foundations and subtle exciters, making on-the-fly 'create and remix' easier and more intuitive than ever before. In a nutshell, cue in a BeatPorn™ on top of your favorite tune, and quickly that kick-ass tune of yours starts kicking a lot more ass, all the while leaving everyone in the club puzzled and unable to figure out how you just did that. It is, in our opinion, one of the most potent feel-good hit you can get for around a sterling pound, a couple dollars or a handful of euro cent coins change. About a year back when we created the series blueprint, the target we set ourselves was to make the BeatPorn™ tracks compatible with virtually every tune on the market, while packing the poise, attitude and evolving sounds that are lacking to conventional tool tracks. Therefore melodies and harmonic contents are limited, the focus being on beats and atonal sounds. But the tracks are also designed to stand their own. Extreme lows and high freq exciters are enhanced and faithfully reproduced, even in mp3, thanks to a bespoke mastering algorithm. Finally, a range of tempi is available for each BeatPorn™ to match your set pace as closely as possible and thus avoid excessive time-stretching, the main cause of muddiness -loss of precision and punch- in digital DJing. First instalment: Barely Legal and Real Amateur. Don’t waste any time looking for “supported by” and pointless DJ feedback. There’s no PR nonsense, you don’t need someone else telling you if it’s cool or not, do you. So everyone gets it at the same time. It's raw. It messes with your head and your tummy.
