Question

• Which bean grows faster in a wet paper towel for a week, a red kidney bean, or a white bean?

Hypothesis

• I think that the white bean will grow faster because the skin is really thin, so the water will get in faster, but with the red kidney bean, it has red coat to cover it.

Materials

• 2 kinds of beans• A wet paper towel• A plate

Procedures

• First put the paper towel on the plate.

• Next put the 2 beans on the paper towel with the plate.

• Finally put the plate near the window and take pictures everyday.

Bean Growth over Time

Observations

• I noticed that when the weather cold, the beans died

• Also if you don’t water the beans ever other day, they’ll die

Conclusion

• In all my hypothesis was right because the white bean did grow faster but died.
