Synopsis
Bean & Chisme is a live web showhosted by two Chingonas locas! Thislive-web show and sketch comedy series serves as a platform to educate and entertain the Latino community. This show is all about saying the things you think, but never say out loud. Started in Octber of 2017, the show is rapidly growing in popularity across the country.

Nina Duran, better known as Lilʼ Frijolita is the co-owner and co-host of Bean & Chisme and also the Vice President of Small Business Lending for Lendio South Central Texas.
Duran, born and raised in San Antonio started making money moves as an Associate Producer for “Great Day SA,” a live morning show in the Alamo CIty and from there she went to work for Ford Motor Company, making her one of the first female writers who targeted the young mom demographic.
Duran, who holds her masters degree from the University of Incarnate Word, traveled to places like Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Tobago and Spain as a freelance travel writer for several public relations agencies throughout Texas and Florida. Duran also served as Publisher of San Antonioʼs only bilingual, family-owned newspaper, La Prensa de San Antonio before closing its doors in 2018. While working she also taught several college classes at Northwest Vista College, San Antonio College and Incarnate Word.
Duran also spent over 10 years in front of the camera, partnering with local San Antonio stations such as KABB FOX 29, News 4 and KENS 5. She's also been involved with several nonprofits including the Alzheimerʼs Association, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, St. PJʼs, the San Antonio Humane Society, The Salvation Army, St. Judeʼs Ranch for Children, and the Public Relations Society of America, to name a few.
Duran is a hard-working mother of two boys Elijah and Noah.

Lil ChismosaSamantha NajeraSamantha Najera
Samantha is a Producer/Director, content creator, and comedic actress based out of San Antonio, Texas. She has over 17 years of experience working in radio, TV, and film, all-encompassing the marketing and communications industry. While earning her degree in Communications from the University of the Incarnate Word, she was blessed with the opportunity to intern for Turner Studios in Atlanta, GA.
During her internship, she learned the many facets of television production by serving as a production assistant on various sets including TBSʼs “Movie and a Makeover,” “Dinner & a Movie,”and Cartoon Networkʼs “Cartoon Fridays.” After graduating from college, she worked as a production assistant for San Antonioʼs ABC Affiliate KSAT 12 News where she learned how to shoot, edit, assistant direct, and most importantly: how to write and create stories for television.
In November 2012, Samantha launched her own Creative Marketing & Public Relations firm in San Antonio, HeartFire Media LLC, where she enjoys being a part of the creative process and launching successful video content that makes an impact on the community.
In 2017, Samantha and Nina Duran created a live streamed web show called “Bean & Chisme” that educates and entertains the Latino market. The show has quickly grown in popularity, with several of their videos going viral that include their alter-ego characters “Liʼ Chismosa and Lilʼ Frijolita.”
Often promoting the “Chingona Life,” she enjoys encouraging others, especially her fellow Latinas, to continue striving toward their dreams and to break as many glass ceilings as possible.
