Be part of the Trade Fair at Icon’s 2016 International Conference – ‘Turn and Face the Change: Conservation in the 21st Century’!Birmingham, 15-17 June 2016
About the ConferenceIcon’s forthcoming third triennial conference will discuss challenges facing conservation and explore the ways in which the heritage sector is adapting to current and future trends. This high-profile event is the UK’s only conference that engages with the full spectrum of cultural heritage conservation. Your audience will include conservators, collections managers, curators, archivists, museum directors, heads of operations, property managers, regional and national advisors, lecturers, students and others in the field of heritage conservation.
There will be no other conservation event on this scale in the UK for the next three years, making this the prime opportunity for networking and professional development in the conservation sector.
MarketingThe conference will be marketed widely via Icon’s brand-new website (www.icon.org.uk), with links to partnering and related websites, and a host of dedicated conference resources. Icon has consolidated a substantial and expanding social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube; Icon’s Digital Content Officer will be actively emphasising the profile of the conference and our conference sponsors in the months leading up to the event, both along our own social media presence and via reciprocal social media partnerships with key organisations in the heritage sector. Icon also boasts a substantial print audience, including the 2,500 readers of our membership magazine and journal. Beyond this, the event itself will provide ample opportunity for face-to-face contact with delegates.
