OverviewThe ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification provides you with a sound base on which to build a career in finance or related areas. As an ACCA trainee, you will develop a wide range of skills, giving you an in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, management techniques and IT, enabling you to work in any area of finance and creating a world of opportunities for your future.

Entry Requirements • 18 years old;• 2 A Levels and 3 GCSEs or equivalent in five separate subjects, including English and Mathematics; OR• Completion of FIA’s Diploma in Accounting and BusinessWhen prior education is not in the English medium :Professional Certificate of English - Intermediate awarded by FTMSGlobal Academy or equivalent, or IELTS 5.5 or any other equivalent qualification

Professional Level (five papers in total)

The Professional level is divided into two modules; Essentials and Options. Both of the modules at Professional level have been set at the same ability level as a Masters degree. This level builds on the technical knowledge you will already have. It will also explore more advanced professional skills, techniques and values. These are required at a senior level by accountants working in an advisory or consultancy role. All students have to pass the three papers in the Essentials module. The Options module contains four papers, but you only need to complete two.

Assessment Method:Computer Based Exams (CBE) / Paper Based Exams (PBE) • Examinations from ACCA, UK • Students taking the F1, F2, F3 and F4 modules can take the Computer-Based Exam (CBE) @ FTMSGlobal. Students taking the rest of the modules (F5 onwards) will have to sit for Paper-Based Exams only. Paper Based Examinations are held in June and December each year.

Foundations in Professionalism is an online ethics module which can be completed before or after the exams but must be completed in order to receive certification for the award achieved.

The Professional Ethics module is an online ethics module which must be completed before, at the same time, or soon after you become eligible to sit Paper P1.

MembershipStudents must apply for ACCA membership with ACCA UK to attempt examinations.
