These classes are qualifiers for the 2017 Osborne RefrigeratorsBDS National Championships at Driving Addington on 23rdSeptember.
The highest placed turnout owned and driven by a member of theBDS and eligible for the following type sections disregardingthose already qualified down to 6th place( 10th place for typesections(n)-(o) in the class will qualify for the semi finals atDriving Addington. The Championship will immediately followthe semi-finals. One qualifier per type-section.

All horses/ponies must be registered in the studbook of the UK Hackney Horse Society or of a recognized Hackney society abroad, and all exhibitors, drivers and grooms must be members of The HHS. Minimum age of driver in Open and Novice classes will be 14 years at date of show.Horses or Ponies eligible for a Novice class may not have been a Novice Champion at the Annual National Breed Show or won the Novice of the Year. Also they can only be a novice for three seasons from the start of their first show, not consecutive seasons.

SHOW RULES
1. Disclaimer of liability. Neither the organizing commitee nor the landowners nor any agent, ofcial representatves or employee of these bodies accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, illness or injury to animals, spectators or any person or property. Please abide by all notces and instructons given by show ofcials.
2. The organizers reserve the right to cancel, alter or merge classes if circumstances arise.
3. The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to any animal that is in their opinion unft to compete, and this decision will be fnal. The organizers have the right to refuse entry.
4. The judge’s decision is fnal. Any threatening or abusive behaviour toward the judge or any other show ofcial will not be tolerated and the ofender will be asked to leave the showground immediately, forfeitng any entry fees or championships and no further entry to the show will be accepted.
5. Objectons must be made in writng and be accompanied by a £30 deposit, to the show secretary within 20mins of the objecton arising.
6. Young Drivers. A driver under the age of 18 must be accompanied in the vehicle by a competent and responsible person over 18 years. Proof of age will be required if necessary. All drivers, grooms or passengers under the age of 14 must wear a hard hat when in the carriage or in atendance to a turnout and aged 10 or over on the day of the show. When in the vehicle they must have their feet frmly on the foor of the vehicle or use asuitable fxed footrest.
7. All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all tmes and cleared up afer.
8. All compettors must be Britsh Driving Society members at the tme of theshow. Entry forms received without current membership will not be accepted.
9. Failure to abide by these conditons means you will not be permited to bepart of this event.
10. With the excepton of Class 1 (In Hand) All horses and ponies must be overthe age of 4 years to compete
