The Bible is the center of the curriculum at Berks Christian
School. Not only is it the most important subject matter, but it is
also the source of the principles that determine the way other
subject matter is taught. Whether learning the geography of
France, the Pythagorean theorem or the symbolism in classic
novels, students and teachers evaluate all they see in the world
through the lens of Scripture.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God
may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
IntegrityIntegrityIntegrity
Our students learn to be passionate about their work as well
as about Christ. Students are nurtured in an environment of
excellence that promotes excitement about learning and
succeeding. Even more significantly, the BCS education
encourages passion for Christ through chapels, Christian
service opportunities, Bible classes, and the integration of a
Biblical worldview into all courses of study. Our students also
witness examples of enthusiasm in their teachers, all of whom
are passionate about what they teach.
“His teacher not only taught the children, but also loved and prayed for each one. I am so grateful for the amazing year we had! “

has enabled many students to be successful on the path of life." - Berks Christian School Parent
DedicationDedicationDedication
DedicationDedicationDedication
The computer lab, the volleyball court, the chemistry
classroom, the stage, the cooking kitchen… in all the places our
students work, dedication is the key to success. BCS leads
students toward lives of dedication in all they do by setting
high standards and by providing the student-focused support
they need to thrive and the experiences they need to learn
conflict-resolution skills, teamwork, communication skills, and
respect. Berks Christian School students graduate to lives as
engineers, teachers, pastors, and doctors as a result of the
commitment they learn at BCS.
Berks Christian School students find varied avenues in which
to express themselves. From art classes and music lessons to
choir, drama, and band, the fine arts have a place in the school
day of most students. For others, athletics provides a path to
success and creativity. Berks Christian School offers boys
soccer, girls volleyball, girls and boys basketball, and track for
Middle School and High School students. Baseball for High
School boys is also offered in the Spring.
In academic work, original thinking is welcomed. Students are
given opportunities to pursue further learning in areas that
interest them, and faculty strive to uncover each student’s
potential in the arena that most suits him or her.

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will last.”
John 15:16
The attention of a young person can be easily captured by the
activities of a busy life, but the education provided at BCS aims
to ground students in truth and turn their affections toward
goals that honor Christ. Service requirements, weekly chapel,
and training in Biblical disciplines provide students with a firm
foundation on which to stand as they seek God’s purpose for
their lives.
While the Preschool and Kindergarten students are learning
letters and numbers, the seniors are completing college
applications and scheduling SAT’s. At Berks Christian School,
we know that both ends of the academic journey are equally
important. All along the way, students make decisions that
require a proper view of the world based on Biblical principles.
At the heart of every interaction with a student is the teacher’s
desire to instill in that student a love for the Lord to guide him
or her toward decisions that please Him.

“Berks Christian School teachers love the Lord. You can see it through their actions. They help us become better students,
and also challenge us to strengthen our faith.” - Berks Christian School 11th grade student
One generation shall praise Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts.
