• Earn points by utilising a unique GPS Treasure Hunt ‘App’

• Unlock Tasks to release questions/challenges and answer them to earn points!

Full briefing on the day but for those that want a head start….

Overview:• Access hotspots to unlock

Task Groups:

– Photo/Video Challenges– Photo Video Tasks– General Knowledge– SA History Questions– Timed Questions

• When Task Groups have been unlocked they will appear in the Task Manager on the right hand side of the screen. Tap them to open!

• Head to hotspot to unlock Task Groups to access questions

• Unlocked Tasks appear in the Task Manager – tap the task on the RHS to open it

• Follow on screen instructions to complete the challenge

• Task Groups contain multiple tasks/challenges

• Tasks and hotspots will disappear once all tasks in the group are completed

Unlocking Task Groups:

If you do you will not be able to re-enter the game!

Tap the ‘Scores’ or ‘Tasks’ Tab to toggle between the scoreboard and Tasks Manager

Use this button to centre the map

Tap the Game Feed for updates on who is doing what!

• Once a task is unlocked, tap it to activate the question - follow the on screen instructions to complete.

• You may need to ‘scroll’ down on some questions.

• Completed tasks and hotspots will disappear once fully completed.

Completing Tasks:

Rules:• Complete the hotspots in any order.

• Do as many as you can.....

• Make sure you are back at the Bird Park by 14h30. The Games Master will remote lock your game at 14h30 on the dot.

• Remember Penalties will apply if you haven’t already returned your team pack and tablet when this happens.

• Have fun!

Top Tips:

• Complete the questions as you access them to ensure you gain maximum points – don’t leave things until the end!

• App uses GPS technology so make sure you have good access to the sky if you are outside.

• If the App crashes at any time it is automatically programed to re-start and take you back into the game – scores will be saved. If it doesn’t tap the icon on the Desktop.

Do not ‘Exit’ the game using the ‘Exit’ button!

• This is a low risk event. However:– Please take care of traffic hazards especially if you are

holding the Tab

• We have a basic knowledge of First Aid so for any minor injuries, please call us on the numbers in your pack.

• For serious injuries, dial 10111 first to report the problem and then call us.

Team Pouch:

• Smile please. First take a Team Photo (by tapping the screen), add a Team Name and then tap the JOIN GAME button.

• Once your team has been registered you are off.
