“The course is very diverse with both business and sports subjects included. You play a wide variety of sports
including soccer, basketball, tennis etc. It is also really interesting with so many different modules to choose from.
If you like sport in any way – this is the course for you. Waterford Institute of Technology is a great place to go to
college. There is always something to do whether it’s sporting, social or academic. The lecturers are friendly and
approachable with small class sizes making it easy to get to know people in your class”.

“My experience on this course has been really positive. The diverse range of subjects gives students a
unique experience and provides the ideal platform for future employment…The sport subjects are both
on a practical and theoretical basis giving me an opportunity to apply what I learn in lectures to the
practical sports classes, the coaching I do in my club and myself as an athlete. Work placement also
allows me the opportunity to synthesize the information I have learned”.
